the brief above states the clients for this tv production are the bbc3 executives and are seeking to create a new drama to boost their viewings on this specific channel. in the brief it sates they would ask fir a tv show to be created to be aimed to the 16-21 year old demographic and make it something that would appeal to this target audience. the non negotiables; the drama must fit with the bbc3 styles and each episode will be released on Fridays as long as it meets the target audience and what they would want to see. the entire production budget for 1 season from bbc3 is £800,000. the BBFC rating for the show must not exceed the guidelines of 15 and the concept must comply and align with all OFFCOM regulations. 

From this research its clear that an audience enjoys to see and be involved in dramas and tv shows that dimply comfort and home environment. you can also clearly understand that the audience enjoys seeing and experiencing new things which is something that they can receive from watching dramas and tv. here escapism theories from the uses and gratification theory. 

From this research its very clear that the audience and viewers enjoy and engage with tv dramas that incorporate crime law and some form of an action packed plot line along with romance and comedy also bing some go the highest voted factors.  

it is shown from this research that they key thing that draw in and continue the attention of viewers is the characters and the plot of the drama, it could be interpreted that viewers focus on the character and their lives as a form of escapism from their realities as part of the uses and gratification theory. 

the patterns of viewing in my target audience are consistent with that that aligns with the uses and gratification theory with the idea that teenagers and that age range in specific watch tv shows that display ideas surrounding current and relevant issues that general teenagers are going through in particular mental health and relationships. along with this from my market research its clear that romance is one of the key factors that plays into the enjoyment of the show along with the characters and their storylines being key as to why a viewer may enjoy the show and relate to those characters through senses of escapism. 

idea 1. shadows of justice 

the first idea for the drama i have is for it to be a crime action drama that follows 2 main protagonists through a relationship whilst also being in the police force, the two protagonist will work together to try and solve separate and individual crimes and issues each episode with the overarching theme of their relationship being within each episode. 

idea 2 . redemption's edge 

 the second idea i created was for a similar narrative but instead would follow a single mother who battles and fights with different obstacles in an attempt to get her husband released from prison as she strongly believes he was wrongfully convicted. the overarching theme of this drama would be the struggles she faces as a young single mother that an audience may be able to relate too. 

idea 3 .captive hearts 

the third idea that i have for the drama is a teen school setting based romantic drama that follows a male and female protagonist through their high school experience's and also delves into the mental health struggles that they both face and how their family and home lives differ and how this effects their relationships friendships and overall persona.
